General Chinese Course is designed for those foreigners who come to China to work and live. It includes three levels: Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced. Once you finished the course, the learners will master the basic survival skills for daily communication in their life and work. What's more important, they will lay solid foundation for further their study in China and help to prepare the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK). The General Chinese Course involves almost every aspect of our daily dialogues such as ordering in restaurants, using taxis, asking directions, etc. Therefore, learners will make great progress in a short time.

  • Elementary Course

Starting with pinyin and tones, which show the pronunciation of the characters. Students in this level should learn more than 1000 words, 200 sentences, and 130 grammar points. This will enable students to use and understand simple communication in daily life,such as: greetings, self introduction, shopping, bargaining, taking public transportation, making appointments, ordering food, seeing the doctor, booking tickets, renting an apartment etc.

  • Intermediate Course

Intermediate Course is suitable for students who have completed the Elementary course or those that possess a vocabulary of approximately 1000 words. The contents of each lesson focus on more detail life in China, you will get more topics to talk with your friends and colleagues. Such as living in, working in, or sightseeing within China. All of the texts are composed of dialogue using conversational Chinese from everyday’s situations. Therefore, intermediate level students should find each lesson both practical and interesting. During the intermediate mandarin study, more than 2500 words and 700 sentences, as well as 450 grammar points will be learned. This will assist you in achieving your goal of communicating within China.

  • Advanced Course

At the advanced level, students will be able to communicate with Chinese people freely in both casual and formal environments, and read Chinese newspapers. They can move into different areas of advanced Chinese such as Business, Tourism, Literature, Culture, History etc. Grammar and correct sentence structure are emphasized. In addition, students have opportunities to give presentations in Mandarin.
